Stayed home Friday because of a pain on the left side of my face that made seeing difficult (it was on the edge of my eye socket where it meets the cheekbone).

After trying to get in touch with the family physician (to no avail) I went to the local clinic.

Seems I have a blocked sty in my eye, which should be providing delightful lubricatory goodness.

So, since there's no discharge leaking from my eye, it's time for compresses and rest. Yeeehah!
