Lost: the day after
Oct. 5th, 2006 10:40 amSo, what happened...
We got to see a very bucolic village that seems to be the home of the Others. Look, muffins! Hey, a book club! What Steven King book was it, then? If it was the Stand, that would be cool as it would drive fans into a froth.
edit: apparently, it was Carrie. Well, there can be froth there, right?
Man, Jack is totally a jerk, isn't he? Was his ex right that he needs to fix things? And isn't it kind of ironic that he drove his dad into the bender that finally killed him? Whatta bastich.
I didn't spot anyone else in any of the flashbacks, although there may have been someone in the AA meeting. Did Jack have the TV on at any point?
No fake Iraqi this week, or anything else back at camp. I hope the "miniseries" format of the first six episodes doesn't mean we don't get to see what's happened back at camp until January.
Benry sure wants that boat, though.

Date: 2006-10-05 03:02 pm (UTC)Shark cages. Bear cages. Some "wtf is up with that?" questions are partially answered now.
The next episode seems to concentrate on the rescue party. Of course the previews can be a pretty meaningless indicator some of the time.

Although a pun of that nature deserves harsh punishment, since it did get a warm chuckle to accompany the groaning and it considerably lightened my mood, I have decided to be magnamanious, and grant you a small satrapy in Milton.
