Disturbing
Aug. 30th, 2006 11:09 pmDid a Google search for the expo via Google's blog search, to see if anyone had mentioned the Halo event.
This was the first hit. The link is NSFW.
I have no idea what the website is for, but it's weird to see it. It looks like a porn website that also caters to geeks, which seems like a match made in heaven. I think 8 years ago, it was stock quotes, now it's gamers.
Apparently Whores of Warcraft has a trailer up. Apparently. I'm not gonna check.

Date: 2006-08-31 04:43 am (UTC)I was somewhat surprised to see how crestfallen my wife was to realize that the Fan Expo was the same weekend as our getaway to Stratford.
Doubly so, as it's the 40th anniversary of Star Trek, and both Shatner and Nemoy will be in attendence (she's a secret Trekker).
::B::
P.S. However, had it been Patrick Stewart present, I suspect she would have given away our tickets to "As you Like It" and would have been in TO this weekend.
P.P.S. That site is definately NSFW!

Date: 2006-08-31 02:23 pm (UTC)You guys do have to come up to Casa Bitter sometime. We should do BBQ if you can both get a few hours off the pagers.
Enjoy Stratford, in any case. I haven't been there in over a decade, but every year Cindy & I make plans (suitably vague ones) to go.
