Did anyone know if the Dark Knight Ultimate is going to contain Dark Knight Returns AND Dark Knight Strikes Back?

I didn't. I got the first issue, said "meh", and moved on.

"300" is worth acquiring. The first "Sin City" trade also shows talent, but is ripe with his burgeoning nun-whore fascinations (I passed on the rest of them, as I had no wish to sink further in the ooze).

Of his earlier material, "Ronin" is good, as is his Elektra miniseries (I can't remember what it was called, but it was essentially Elektra v Hand). I don't think I've ever seen the latter bound into a trade, but I didn't look tremendously hard either.

I've got several issues of Ronin, but never got the finish.

Are you thinking of the Sienkievicz (sp?) drawn mini? I think that was Elektra: Assassin.

I have both in hardback and love 'em, but see no reason to buy an Absolute Edition.
