thebitterguyAnyone heard if the Sci Fi Cafe on Steeles has closed?
I haven't been out in a while because of my own living location, but it was always a nice place to go for a bit of clever decoration and a tasty burger n' fries.

Date: 2006-07-07 01:34 am (UTC)Well, Big Louie, a local organised crime type, had some primo blackmail-type info on the owner, and used it to let him use the place after hours, as a place to film hardcore/illegal porn movies.
The cops busted the operation, and everyone's in lockup, and the cafe went bye-bye.
