If, during an internet discussion, your best rebuttal is a typo, you have lost. Commenting on egregiously poor grammar & punctuation is not exactly a roundhouse, and is sometimes just a hair's breath from the dreaded "Ad hominem". "You misspelled food", however, feels like the debate equivalent of swinging blind because of the blood in your eyes.

Thank you, and good day.

Edited: Because I made my point too well.

Tell me that's intentional, I'm begging ya.

whoever, despite its utter inefficacy as a debating ploy, it can be amusing once in a while among friends when the one responsible for the typo is, at the time, either in process of snarking at others or is otherwise nitpicking. A gentle (or not-s--gentle) poke in the ego reminding them not to throw stones while dwelling in glass houses (if I may mix a few metaphors).

I'd never count on it to help win any arguments, though. That's just stupid.

Heh. Typos in my comment: one deliberate, two not so much. In any world, that means I "lose".

You win!

The argument.

On... the Internet...

It's more like the internet equivalent of spitting on the other fighter as the ref is pulling you both apart. You aren't even swinging, really, you're just spraying fluid to piss people off.
