Feh.

You ever go to bed, have an idea, and think "that's a pretty cool idea, I'll write it down in the morning." and in the morning, all you remember is you had a pretty cool idea.

Now, naturally, I could have walked into the office and scribbled some notes down on a pad. It might have sucked. It might have been a magic bullet. But now we'll never know.

Feh.

All the time. I've taken to keeping a pad and pen by the bed now, for just such occurances...

I used to do that. Still do, as a matter of fact (only now it's on my wife's side).

But this time I just figured "I'll write it down in the morning", so I was probably rilly tired.

I just HOPE it wasn't too important. The worst part is just remembering "that's a cool idea. I'll write it down in the morning."

This is why I keep a tiny tape rescorder next to my bed. I can record my nocturnal ramblings. I also find knowing I've reacorded it makes it easier for me to remember it, ironically eliminating the need for the record itself.
