Lost, one hour later...
May. 3rd, 2006 11:22 pmLife is nothing but a competition to be the criminal rather than the victim.

Michael, Michael, Michael. What were you THINKING?
I guess that's what we find out next week. Man, I feel sorry for Vinay Menon (edit: he emailed me back; turns out he watched it).
So. If you get caught DWI on the island (Hawaii, not 'mystery island'), your character gets shot. Ah, well.
Actually, that was a bit odd, since they weren't the first cast members to blow high. I'm pretty sure some of the male leads have been caught enjoying themselves.
Anyway, tragedy, we must go forward, what is Michael DOING? And could the US trailer have made him look any more sinister?
Man, it's Oz all over again.

Date: 2006-05-04 03:28 am (UTC)I think it's pretty obvious that Michael is letting "Henry Gale" go, which is prolly the deal he made with The Others - they prolly told him Henry for Walt, but they'll go back on it.
And he shot himself (looked to me like in the arm) so he can tell them that Henry killed the girls and shot him and got away.
That's my theory.
Now, if it's OZ then Mister Eko has to take over and start fucking boys.

Date: 2006-05-04 10:32 am (UTC)I can't speak for the trailer; I don't watch them - they give too much away, and I already know I'm watching next week's ep, so my attitude is why bother.

Date: 2006-05-04 06:54 am (UTC)I wonder if their deaths (departures from show) are really related to their DWI charges? Seems a little more than mere coincidence.

Date: 2006-05-04 07:52 pm (UTC)So the current spin is "it had nothing to do with it", which is possible since they've never reacted like this to anyone else's brushes with the law.
On the other hand, it may be clever Hollywood LIES!
I just can't figure out why they'd need Michael to kill AL. I mean, if they wanted her dead, they'd just send someone in to finish her, Ethan Rom styles.

Date: 2006-05-06 01:57 pm (UTC)According to this article, that's not the case. (http://cinescape.com/0/editorial.asp?aff_id=0&this_cat=Television&action=page&type_id=&cat_id=270355&obj_id=51171) And I gotta say, that's the worst spoiler warning ever.
