Up way too late

Should really be in bed by now, considering I have to meet pyat for burritos at noon (was it 12 or 12:30?).

I've spent way too much time browsing Matt Forbeck's site and looking at stuff, including some bits on Brave New World. Not a game that ever clicked with me, but it was still compelling to read his "what was I thinking" post.

I've been lucky enough to meet Matt on a couple occasions, and he's a cool guy.

Feh. Slowly losing coherence. Much to do tomorrow.

Apparently. I can never find these books (especially Robin's). Maybe I need to try a GW store. I can only imagine what a Blood Bowl novel would be like. Probabl something like a Shadowrun book about Urban Brawl.

Yeah; it's in the plaza on the southwest; it's pretty far into the plaza, right by the road.

It took Cindy & I half an hour to find it the first time because of the bad address in the Mississauga News story where we heard about it.

I enjoyed reading the BNW books, as I can recall, though it never did feel like something I'd ever want to play. If I want to play a superhero, it'll be something where I can at least emulate Wolverine or similar rather than be "kinda good at fighting" (or whatever) which is what the power packages felt like to me.

Oh, yeah: BNW was a good idea, but the characters were way too restricted for superhero gaming.
