So, apparently it's happening on the weekend of the 28th-30th. Anyone planning on going? It appears they're not planning to do the used game sale.

What? That was always the best part of Baycon!

Well, at least there's an auction.

Doug.

No used game sale? No point.

I'm pretty sure that there's going to be some of the Shadowrun Missions campaign run there as well, for that matter.

Yes, I'll be there doing Shadowfist demos (shut up madmanofprague! :) ) Friday and Saturday and there's a small tournament Saturday afternoon.

So yes, I'll be there :) Want to learn Shadowfist or just get some free cards? Come by for a demo.

No, that wasn't aimed at you, that was just a shameless plug :)

No used game sale? What?

Do they have at least a flea-market table or game exchange table for us grognards?

Hmmm...Over this same weekend, on Saturday April 29th, there's the 10th Annual Fantastic Pulps Show and Sale at the Lillian H. Smoth Branch of the TPL from 10 am to 5 pm. I'm tempted to go to the Pulp show on the Saturday and go to Baycon on either Friday or Sunday now.

And some free space for some pick-up board or card or wargaming would be nice for BayCon, too.

Ah, but this year you can pay for the priveledge of playing in one of the games. I think munchkin comes to $4.50 to play in a game.

Ian and I have one day passes, as getting the weekend pass looked like it'd be a waste of time and money.

What??
Last time I talked to Rose, the coins were going to be $1.50, which I already thought was far too much.
Wow.
Just wow.

It's still way too much.

I ran the Munchkin demo table at the last con, and I had a hard time getting a decent number of players when it was all free.

You know the last weekend of this month is the Paradise Toronto Comics Con.

Straczynski's gonna be here again, too.

He's an entirely affable guy. He'd listen to your beration and say "But apart from that Mrs Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play..."

Not a clue. I should touch base with Rose.
