There's a wargaming group in TO called Canucks Amuck. Semi regular days to push around pieces.

And I know some of y'all grumble about not getting in enough historical recreation, so why not, eh?

edit: And in a related topic, the Toronto Area Boardgaming Society runs a regular event called CondoCon. I'm strongly contemplating going.

And if I DO go, I will order a pizza for lunch. On the pizza? Lots of sausage.

Should be fun in any case. Seriously, though, shouldn't they have moved the chairs ot of the way of the photo?

I was invited to come out to one of the CondoCons by one of the TABS guys on Consimworld - I kind of let it go though. It's hard enough to find time to game with people I know well. It would be cool to go with someone else - if you do decide to go, please let me know.

Also, if you're feelin' the need for some historical gaming... I can hook you right up! I can do tactical for most periods between 300 BCE and 0 AD, bits and pieces up until about 1200 AD and then tactical, strategic and sometimes operational from just about 1500 AD to the end of the 20th C. Blood, love and rhetoric are free! Also, it would be easier to organize than anything that involved coordinating spouses ;)

I'm considering it. It all depends if something I enjoy will be played. Otherwise, I'll likely hang out with mr_weasel and play a couple turns of A&AM, which is surprisingly enjoyable for such as I.

We should arrange to try it together sometime.
