Hmmm. Well, in the final analysis, my individual vote was not wasted, but it sure as heck didn't bear fruit. The CPC candidate won by 2000 votes, taking 44.18% of the vote, to the incumbent's 41.17%, a difference of two thousand votes. The CBC's breakdown is here.

Cynra & I are very average for this riding, what with the commuting. I wish I could find the Statscan page that had the the info on Milton & Napanee again. That was fun.

I am storngly contemplating contacting my local riding association and attempting to be more active locally.
