Okay, so Cynra is in the sitting room marking (on a Sunday, so the next time someone complains about teacher salaries, I cock punch them) while YHB watches PVR shows (some goofy documentary on Canadian horror films, etc).

Anyway, after the last harrumph of Edo van Belkom (renowned author of Wyrm Wolf, but he needed the money, but he really needs to update that website) fades into the distance and I realize that I really don't like horror films, I go to the sitting room and find that the pedometer Mater Bitter had given Cynra for Christmas is sitting on the floor. How did that get there, I ask. Oh, the cat put it there, she says.

The cat?, I ask.

Yes, she says. I put it on its collar and it knocked it off.

It seems she had taken the pedometer, set the pace length to the lowest possible, and strapped it to the cat's collar. As with any act of certifiable madness, the question of WHY never really occurred to her. It was simply something possible, so why wait?

Feh. As long as she doesn't try to teach them to water-ski, we're okay.

Other than Cronenburg, the only Canadian horror that comes to mind is the Ginger Snaps franchise.

Okay, that made me laugh out loud at work. What results did she obtain from the experiment?
