Picked up 100 Bullets 2-4. Story gets interesting as it goes along. Is there any specified end to the narrative? Because, by now the players in the larger metaplot are in place, and they can either continue with splicing Trust stories with "here's your case!" stories or they could take it in an entirely new direction. Good stuff, though.
I got Villains United in trade last week, on Badass' recommendation (still to pick up Day of Vengeance).
Neat book, although now I cannot think of Chershire without Ace of Base running through my head.
The Other is closing in on its finish; interesting story, once again taking JMS' whole "Spider-Man or Man-Spider?" thingy a step further.
Couldn't find any Christmas issues so I picked up the JLU Christmas issue. Nice story about a loser supervillain who breaks out of prison on Christmas Eve. Doesn't hold up afterwards, but it's okay.

Date: 2005-12-31 03:37 am (UTC)Day of Vengeance pretty much isn't a story, but a plot device, and as such falls rather flat. Got some neat stuff, but I wouldn't recommend spending money on it.
