thebitterguyI know, I know, you're all on the edge of your seats waiting to see what I got for Christmas.
Well, I think that just telling everyone about it would just be in poor taste, so instead I'm gonna tell you what I got for other people.
Cynra got a copy of the new King Kong super-deluxe edition with tin case, program book and cards. We've got a mail in offer for a poster, but it's only good in the US. Khaaaan!
She also got Son of Kong, the King Kong movie magazine, and a copy of Tiger Beat about the Monkees from a few decades past (IIRC, it's this one). That was sorta the cap to the whole event. She also got the Life retrospective on John Lennon and a copy of Working Class hero earlier in the month.
Uday & Qusay got identical gifts: a wool sweater from Cynra's trip to Scotland, a copy of America: the Book: the Calendar, and a Simpsons book (one got Bart, the other got Ralph Wiggum; I kept the Comic book Guy for myself).
Mater & Pater each got a china cup & saucer in an Egyptian motiff, and a pair of books (mom got Stuart McLean, dad got Naguib Mahfouz) as well as a Chapters GC to share.
