Oh, I'm upset

thebitterguyNot about last night's party. It was a wonderful time, and much turkey was eaten and insufficient potatoes & stuffing were prepared.
No, I just saw Man-Thing, or as I like to call it, "about as bad a flick as has been made from a graphic novel property since they banished Schumacher. And possibly longer than that.
Oh, man. Whatta load of arse. Seriously, it started out weird (swamp pit party?) got weirder (boobies!) and just spiralled down into the sewer from there. It made the Swamp Thing movie look like Citizen Freaking Kane.
Man. I know the original Man Thing was just another goofy code era horror book who occasionally would do appearances in other Marvel mainstream Superhero books. But this... Imagine if Swamp Thing's run had been done by Fabian Nicieza instead of Alan Moore. Yeah, that bad. Someone better tell Avi & Stan that with great power comes great responsibility, and movie production is something akin to power.
