First off: The lament of a frustrated writer on the
toronto_gamers community, about how they cannot get "real writting" (sic) done because they spend so much time preparing for game. I'm not gonna make any judgements, really, but it has a certain sublime amusement factor in it.
Secondly: Bumper Stumpers! Two red hot license plates spotted on local streets recently. The first was obviously a few years old, as it had the Federation symbol, which hasn't been available as a personalized license plate optionf or a while.
So I've heard.
In any case, the license plate, with the Federation symbol, read "CAT FRK". As I passed it, I called my wife to tell her about that. "It's you from an alternate timeline!"
Man, thank God the couch is so darn comfortable.
A few days later, I was on my way from my comic shop to a dental appointment when I looked up and noticed something. The purple CR-V in front of my had a vanity plate that read "TIME TRPR". Naturally, I began honking and throwing him the thumbs up. They waved back, sheepishly, but as I see it, if you have a super-geeky license plate, you better expect random people showing appreciation.
