A) Happy Thanksgiving! Even if you're one of those goofy Yanks who doesn't quite 'get' it!

B) Alien Vs Predator just gets worse every time I see it. In fact, I'm gonna go pop me some popcorn and watch Boa vs Python.

The weekend was a fun 'ol time at ACB. All had a good time. A plan to go see a matinee of Serenty was discarded in favour of a quiet drive in the country (Camden East & Newburgh) to check out the fall foliage. The locals enjoyed seeing Supercar. We'll probably take in a matinee today. The turkey was well done (Mater has a device dedicated purely to turkey cooking; it just sits there and cooks the bird, and can also bake bread if you want).

I had planned to ring up various Kingston folks to wish happy holiday and offer drop-bys, but the sheer hurriedness of it all kept me from doing so. Plus, I need Michael & Allison's #. Little help, anyone?

I've met a handful of people who liked AvP and not having seen it, I was pretty sure that they either are social contrarian personalities or have severe mental problems.

It's possible they just have very, very strong attachments to the Alien or Predator franchises, or are very big fans of the Military SF genre.

Otherwise, yeah.
