On the drive

So, while I was en route to work in Supercar today, I noticed an empty transport that had a sign on it. The sign said "Don't be alarmed! It's not smoke, it's steam!"

Which struck me. Not the steam, since the transport was empty and whatever it was supposed to carry that would steam up was obviously gone, but that phrase. It describes me, I think. Steaming, but not smoking.

Then, when I get home and talk with Cynra, she says it's probably used to transport manure or compost. Which is also appropriate, because I'm usually either vegging or full of bullshit.

So, hence: it is now the title of this LJ.

For now, anyway.

It also could have been transporting some kind of cryogenic fuel or substance (nitrogen, hydrogen, natural gas). I don't know what it looked like - if it was a regular box, probably not.

Interesting, though.

It was actually a big cage type transport; the bars were about a foot apart, so it was for something packed in or already bound (maybe hay).

Yeah, I wouldn't transport liquid nitrogen or hydrogen in a cage. Probably compost or manure, then.

Is it just me, or did autumn just forget to come to southern Ontario? Or maybe it's waiting until Sunday.
