Well, on the advice of [livejournal.com profile] the_adzo I rented Hulk: Ultimate Destruction with my Microplay Power Card. Fun game. Lots of destruction, and once again, the hulk kills more people before nine am than those GTA punks do in the course of their entire video game. Of course, people die when you run into them, but when you're a twelve foot tall gamma irradiated mutant, that happens.

It's fun, though, and seems to have a lot of Hulk-esque silliness going on. Doc Samson (hair up) is in it, as is Emil "Abomination" Blonsky. I can only pray for an opportunity to curbstomp Sabra sometime in the game, too.

Fun, fun, fun. If rather frustrating to try taking out a convoy, get rid of two, and buy it chasing the third. Ah, well.

I dunno if it's a 'buy', but it's a fun play.

I've been playing some God of War over at a friend's house.

Dear Lord. That game is a bag of chips. It's outrageous how much hurt Kratos inflicts on the world, though more on the people (and occasional statue, and monster) than upon the buildings of a city.

Kratos rules.

But I need something similarly cathartic for the GameCube, so Hulk might fit the bill.

Is there a two-player option?

And do you have any recommendations for two-player games (as opposed to Deathmatch game-play, which is kinda boring for just two)?

I've completed both Halo and Halo 2 via coop play with [livejournal.com profile] shadow_mage and looking for more, found that "Crimson Skies" is kinda fun with two persons, but we are looking for something else.

Legends IS more fun with two players, except that you can't keep the frakking screen centred on everyone at the same time, which is a bit frustrating, a lot of "ACK GORRAM IT FOLLOW ME" that we used to get back in the Gauntlet days.

It's very "Gauntlet"-y, in fact.

Anyway, I picked up Teh Honk for Teh Gamecub today, and damned if it isn't a helluva fun.

Phantasy Star Online, when played offline, is semi-fun. However, the whole game is grind - fun if you're the kind of person who enjoys WoW and similar activites.
Also I believe that Super Monkey Ball is out for X-Box for ~$20, which is a deal at twice the price.

Sorry, that was for doc_mystery and I have no idea why it's anonymous (and why a logged-in version appeared after). Weird.
