Rockne O'Bannon (who you have to work hard to believe is using his own name) is producing a show called Cult. It's about a TV show with a fanatical, almost dangerous online following.

Rockne O'Bannon says it "was inspired by his experience as executive producer for the SCI FI Original series Farscape."

Yeah, I read about this on the Scifiwire. I'm not sure I'll watch it, as it sounds like he may be trying to make it seem deeper than it is.
