I just remember good things from when I was younger. The trips to the baseball card shops, the swimming in the ocean was particularly memorable, the one time we were swimming in the pool as Tropical Storm Chris was hitting North Myrtle Beach (remember the pre-climate change days, when the named storms would only be up to C by the end of August? Or at worst, E, like the year Emily drove us north a couple of days early?)
After my teenage years hit, it wasn't so good. Because I was so awkward with the ladies, and had no boys to chill with. It was a bit better with the Egyptian Supremacist in '97 (you probably know who I'm referring to), but by then I was starting to see through the stupidity of wanting to spend the evening cruising up and down Ocean Blvd. in a muscle car or a suv, chasing tail. But who am I to judge? I could certainly use some of that tail these days...
