1) When they mention something on parents.wwe.com, they are fully aware that they're doing something stupid. Something that will annoy some and disgust others of their fanbase. Admittedly, the Billy & Chuck/3 Minute Warning bit turned out to be a good piece of story. That was likely an accident.
2) Even if the most interesting thing that had happened in London this past week was a sawdust shortage for cleaning up puke after Live 8, it still would have been pretty fucking tasteless.
3) At least the Iron Sheik was supposed to be Iranian. Hassan is portrayed as the insidious infiltrator, the different one who refuses to shut up and learn his place, who isn't really an American. Who now has a team of club weilding accomplicies.
3a) No, I didn't watch Smackdown. I have a game on Thursday night. If there's any subtle nuance to the events that I missed, I would be surprised.
