Apparently, someone got married yesterday. Good luck, kids. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Where was I? Oh, yeah: JLU. Cynra & I enjoy very much watching the show. Now, amusingly enough, YTV kinda sucks at broadcasting it.
You see, last week, they showed Question Authority, part one of a two part series that ended with a cliffhanger. Superman & Huntress, having rescued The Question from a Cadmus base, must now face their former ally Captain Atom, voiced by the Italian guy on CSI. But instead of that episode, Flashpoint, what they SHOWED was an older episode, Hunter's Moon. And that sucked.
Not that there was any problem with Hunter's Moon, mind you. Interesting enough episode (although, really, it was kind of tiring to listen to the whole "Thanagarians are evil! And YOU'RE Thanagarian!" Fuck, man. Metaphor is just annoying when it's done poorly).
We also couldn't catch the goddamn credits (thanks, YTV, for running them at slightly higher than too many frames per second) so we couldn't figure out who did the voice of the female Thanagarian. It sticks in the craw, it does.
Anyway, so next week there is hope. Off to yardwork! Huzzah!

Date: 2005-05-28 03:04 pm (UTC)TV Tome (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-3914/epid-403953/) lists Elizabeth Peña as "Paran Dul" - is that her?

Date: 2005-05-28 06:07 pm (UTC)I czeched IMDB first, but it only listed the names, so I wasn't sure if "Paran Dul" was the Thanagarian woman or not. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275137/guests) So, I decided to check another resourced, settled with TV Tome, and extrapolated that she must have been from the quotes from the episode.

Date: 2005-05-28 07:12 pm (UTC)But it does sound like Cartoon Network does have something up on YTV (to make up for YTV getting them first, I suppose).
