With gracious assistance from [livejournal.com profile] terheyt.

1. So you live in (near) T.O. It can't possibly be as bad as the people around here (Montreal) say. What are your 3 favorite things about the Big City?

No French People!

No, I kid, I kid. I like TO's multicultural aspects. I like having pretty much anything I could conceivably need being within the city's limits (except, of course, a good game store, of which there's only one in the GWN). I like handy tourist attractions that I as a citizen can still enjoy (Wonderland, museums, CN Tower, Film Fest, etc).

2. What was the best gaming character you ever played, and why? How were they similar to you?

Ozgur Ozakin, an Assamite Anachronism. He was staked and torpored in the 13th Century, so he never had to submit to the Tremere curse. It was a long running, very fun game, with demons and methuselahs (methuselae?) and all the other stuff that makes serious Vampire players bleed from their eyes.

I also named him after my cousin. I thought that would be funny.

I never got to develop my Toreador, but his art was gonna be criticism. He'd originally been a ghoul, kept at the beck and call of a talentless witch who got embraced after she died and took his hatred out on the entire clan. He was going to have status with the Nosferatu.

3. In terms of music in your interests list, you seem to have much more of an interest in Canadian music. Which Canadian artists make your playlist, but not your LJ interests list?

I retain a soft spot in my heart for The Northern Pikes (they were the first concert I ever saw, at the Grand Theatre in Kingston). I have to like The Hip because I'm from South Eastern Ontario. Spirit of the West's "Save This House" is just a great album. I think every song on it is good, with a few great ones.

4. Who were you pulling for to win Greatest Canadian?

Trudeau. I'm the child of '60s immigrant parents, so the guy's a little more than a deity to me. I think he was the only Badass we ever had running the country. And he was a formative influence on me as a kid, since he was the guy on TV when I was growing up.

5. Oh, yeah? What's so fascinating about you?

I'm a laugh a minute roller coaster of shame and delight. I'm a sexual tyrannosaurus with barbed wire knuckles. I can cook a turkey in 7 minutes per pound with my thoughts. When I wake up in the morning, I smell like bubble gum, and when I go to bed, I smell like the beach. Small children adore me, and old people want to adopt me. Poor people assume I'm rich, while wealthy people hold their wallets and call security. I once caused an Air Force NCO to turn crimson/scarlet/magenta twice in two weeks. I've hit bottom and bounced. I'm in charge, but it's not my problem. My left testicle sets off airport security alarms. Space folds around me, and time goes through me. You can see the future in the reflection on my head, and the past in my eyes.

How's that? Fascinating enough?

The rules are below:

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

The one shining moment?

I'd have to say the formation of the nWo. When Hogan walked out to 'save the day' against The Outsiders, only to turn against Sting and Macho, it shook everything up and changed the face of wrestling.

I loved WCW; out of the big two, I enjoyed it a lot more than WWF for the longest time. It was the emphasis of wrestling over 'sports entertainment'. (Don't get me wrong... I'm a big fan of the entertainment side... but I grew up on NWA from the mid 70's on.)
