So, was Boone a sacrifice? Did the island demand him of Locke as a price to be paid, a cost that was worth far more than the reward? Just like donating his kidney to his father?

Was he once again unaware of what was being asked of him?

Who's down there? Is that just an entranceway, or is it some kind of small subterranean bunker?

Crap, nobody better let Charlie know there's a shitload of brown heroin just lying around the island.

Well, it's about time someone died, but every time I think I know what's going on, I find out I'm so wrong it isn't funny, so who knows.

It would have been hysterical if, right after the reveal of the 'ron, they'd smash cut to Charlie snapping his head up in sudden alertness. "I felt a grave disturbance in the force, as though hundreds of baggies had flared into life."

I'm really hoping they don't kill Boone -- even while admitting that a)it's time for someone to die (KATE! KATE! KATE!)(which will, of course, open things up for Sawyer and Jack) and b)I may be the only person in the known universe who actually likes him.

It's a short step from Locke being crazy old Yoda-man to just plain crazy.

And I'm seeing a temptation of Charlie in our future.

Saving all the glasses though, that was smart!

Oh, yeah. Charlie's in for a world of want, unless the Locke-Magic has really cured him.

I have no dislike for Boone. No matter which castaway does die it'll be sucky.

I do like Locke, though. Knowing what he's been through, and wondering what else is in his past (and recent past, too, on the island) is just a roller coaster. I just wonder what he's capable of sometimes.
