Two weeks ago, I'd never HEARD of the acronym. Then, I read a few pages of Sound of the Beast, a history of Metal book a co-worker loaned me (I didn't finish it because it was a bit too Metallica Fanboy-y for me), and suddenly this WORD is everywhere.
It's like the most viscious meme ever. I find myself wandering around thinking about NWOBHM, who was in the NWOBHM?, how do you Pronounce NWOBHM?, do I even LIKE anything from the NWOBHM?
It won't leave me alone.
Help.
