Jesus, I wish I played Golf.

For a 17 minute trip to a meeting today, I will drive a route that takes me past exactly four golf courses, with another 9 within easy driving distance.

It just seems kinda crazy. Napanee gets by with one, right?

You're not serious, are you? Do you REALLY want to associate yourself with those people? I think Robin Williams does a good description of golf in "Live on Broadway".

Napanee may have only a 9-hole, but there's Camden Braes (18 holes) near Camden East (about 15 km from the old ranch) and Marysville and Bath have courses too, all of them within a 15 minute drive (as opposed to the Nappers course being a 15 minute-walk, and only because we were teenagers carrying golf bags up the hill.

Nah, not really. It's just that it feels weird to be within such proximity to so much Golf and not be able to enjoy it.

As opposed to the fact you can't steal a copy of a D&D book in this town.
