The 'Runnin' scale
Jan. 31st, 2005 10:30 pmAnyway, as I was sending off a package for
granolademonic the other day, something came to my mind. Hulkamania, which is the most powerful force known to humanity, runs wild. Brother.
Now, that's a fact. But, seriously, shouldn't there be some kind of scale, some gauge of "Runnin'ness" that we should be able to apply to things, to determine the amount of runnin'-tude they posses?
Well, never let it be said that here at Bitter Labs we don't go the distance for you, the loyal home audience.
Runnin' Loose! -- Loose is actually the least powerful of the Runnin' scale. When something is runnin' loose, it's free, it's moving, it's on its way, but that's about it. Loose is good, don't get me wrong. But it's no...
Runnin Amok -- Now we're talking! When you're running Amok, you're just the littlest bit wacky, crazy, there's big energy moving and strong feeling flowing. You're taking a breath of fresh air, and you're liking it. You're telling a dirty joke to your boss, and she's laughing at it. Then, you can consider...
Runnin' Rampant -- Rampant is a step up the curve, and rampant is good. Rampant's got a gleam in its eye, and can taste life in the air. Rampant is a cold winter morning, about to take a polar bear dip. Rampant is mostly out of control, just a little sexy, just a little dangerous. Until you start...
Runnin' Wild!! -- Please, friends, note the second exclamation point. When you're running wild, brother, the world is at your feet Or possibly, you're just standing on its head. Honestly, no one can lead you, so everyone better get out of the way. Start rippin' off your shirt and Hulkin' OUT, brother, because this is as good as it gets!
Woooo!
The Rumble was fun yesterday, in any case. Except for the "hey, he's an arab! Get him!" bit. That sucked.
