Gaming Night in Canada
Jan. 22nd, 2005 02:25 amTonight was chargen for
pyat's 'not Traveller' game. Made up my PC (apparently, I'm the one in this party who's good at fightin').
What the plan is is that he won't be to eager to do it, which only makes sense when you're using BRP.
Am feeling very excited. It's a short term game, bi-weekly, so there'll be gaming for a set period. Fun.
nottheterritory and
rainwolf hopped into the smart while I brushed the evening's light snow off.
The ride home consisted of too much snow on the road, light stuff (just the kind to make getting a grip on the black ice below just that harder). Nearly got t-boned by a van on my way out of hamilton, since red lights seem to mean different things to different people (Me, you see, I interpret them as meaning "hey, you should stop, as people will be going in the other directions", while the driver of the van seemed to view it as "hey, keep going!"). It was interesting watching the back of the van slide forwards as he tried to stop.
If you're reading this, I guess he did. If you AREN'T, why the hell am I updating my LJ in the afterlife?
Was late getting to game, but didn't miss much. Odd, that.
