I like Tri-Stat. What's Ex Machina like? Haven't seen it yet in the FLGS.

Tho my favourite generic system is Silhouette.

Ex Machina is quite cool. I hadn't had the chance to go deep into it, but it was gorgeous, and the settings were okay/cool/cool/really cool.

Good adaptation of Tri-Stat.

I've never had the chance to see Silhouette in action, other than one cool T8 game. I'd definitely like to try it more.

Have you reported all this to the cops? Or had a look to see what pawn-type stores are in that area? I know I'm being redundant here, but just some pre-morning-tea thoughts.

I don't know how seriously they'd take a car grab with a value under $300. I haven't reported anything yet.

I'm sorry to hear about your theft, Justin, this so close to Christmas.

If its any consolation, at least it didn't include any presents you were intending to others. I had a car break in several years ago where (among other things) I lost not only my own, but my wife's laptop, too; both had some sensitive medical data, and one even had part of manuscript for a medical paper I was writing (and I had to recreate). Even worse, after several major thefts in our house, I dared not claim this item, else face a very hefty insurance hit for years to come.

Regardless, unless you have insurance reasons for the contrary, I'd still report this; you never know what turns up, and the police *can't* get it back to you if they don't know about it. You may also want to check with your own home-owner's insurance, which may cover such items (again, at the price of perhaps having your premiums go up).

I'll check. The main issue is how little got taken. It'll come to under $300-400 at the most, and that's definitely below deductible.

I can't see how the cops would end up with a bunch of RPG manuals. I'll report it to them tomorrow, in any case. Thanks for the tips.
