Oh, yeah. You know those sad bastards who've read all the Harry Potter books, and are now gnawing at their living room furniture in anticipation of the last one getting put out?

Well, cover me in gravy and call my a cat treat, but I think I'm gonna have to join that club.

Just finished Goblet of Fire. Although one twist is rather excessive, it's a good story overall. And now I wanna read the OotP, so Snra's gonna pick it up from me from Chapters tomorrow.

No need for gravy

Yes! Come join the ranks of Potter Fandom! Great books, aren't they? They keep getting better with each one, too.

I love that aspect, too. These are not mass-produced, committee-written serial books; they're an actual series about kids who are "just like us". I've never seen such lifelike characters in children's lit before. They breathe. They grow. And, as you point out, they use what they've learned and acquired up to this point.

In the next book, Harry ends up teaching a group of students who aren't happy with their Defense against the DArk Arts teacher. Logical progression, isn't it? I love it.

OotP?

What's with your excessive use of acronyms? Your typing speed is way better than mine so that can't be the reason.

I have to say I love the fact that she has bags of money because people read her books. Sure the movies make her money, but really it's the book sales that matter. And frankly, they should, the books are great.

Acronyms mostly bother me, they tend to create an insider/outsider thing which is one of the worst things about fandom. Not that I never do it of course.
