Some thoughts on Mutant Mayhem, the upcoming release for Marvel Heroclix.

Crap, just when I thought I was out, they keep dragging me back in!

Just when I've got Star Wars to keep me geeky, I get a HC set with Alpha Flight in it. Puck, Snowbird, Northstar, and Sasquatch, if I understand correctly.

And, now that they have a Firestar figure, I can finally build that Spider Man and his Amazing Friends team I always wanted to. AND Cloak and Dagger. AND M.O.D.O.K., but he's a Unique.

Unfortunately, they padded it out with the Mauraders and Man Thing.

Feh. First, they deny me Galactus, now M.O.D.O.K. is a unique. Wizkids bastards.

I'm out of the Clix (and other collectible figs) thing for good. Last was Mechwarrior. They take too much damned space and are too expensive. I'm back to CCGs.

I thought I was out, too. But, man... Alpha Flight? That's my kryptonite right THERE.

They are SO playing dirty.

You're gonna hate me for this, but... those figures are way too ugly. Granted, I've never played, and I probably never will, but I can get on board with collecting figures... just not these ones. Dude, I checked out Illyana Rasputin -- she looks like the plastic surgery lady in Brazil!

Though Northstar's pretty cute. :)
