Quick observation on Ex Machina
Oct. 31st, 2004 07:27 pmVery interesting. System is a good adaptation of Tri-Stat to Cyberpunk. Admittedly, I flipped around a bit, so I ended up thinking "what is THAT attribute doing in a Cyberpunk game" a couple times before finding the sidebar that explained that same subject (in, in fact, those exact words).
Settings are interesting so far, but Heaven over Mountain seems a bit un-gelled. Deadalus is pretty sublime, especially the two page art spread about chip removal; it just grabs you and uses how your eyes move against you. IOSHI looks interesting, and Underworld seems to be an old school Cyberpunk setting.
Of course, with MY luck, that MoFo Pookie's already sent a review to Pyramid. Feh.
