Sky Captain: An Alternate View

Just read nihilistic_kid's review of Sky Captain.

(spoiler filled, for those of you who haven't seen it)

Man, he loved that movie.

I mean, sure, he went on and on about "where's the plot, why are there these things there, why is this here, I'm angry, Wauuugh, my heart!"

But, dude. He compared modern cinema to rancid bacon. For a two dollar a word guru like him to toss out such a great simile for free, on his web page? That's the sign of someone who REALLY loved a flick.

God, it makes me all teary inside. {sniff}
