Took Khem Khat and the Kitten in for shots and stuff today.

Went okay (normal feline skittishness included) up until the final bit.

While Snra & I were parked by the door, waiting to cover the damage, another patient came in with their owner. Ramses, being relatively new to this whole 'life' thingy, was not that famliar with puppies.

The dog in question was a lovely, well behaved husky. This mattered not, of course, as Ramses took the first opportunity to get as far away from the dog as possible. This involved excavating a small hole through my midsection.

Thankfully, he failed, but he did manage to get around me, tearing a pair of lovely holes in a silk luau shirt (the back claws, they is sharp) and leaving a few long but shallow scratches on the shoulder & neck.

It's the shirt I'm most upset about.

Oh, yes: Midnight launch at Bayshore yesterday. Everyone was nicely dressed in black (aside from myself, in black and tan, and

nottheterritory in urban daddy).

Since I'm not sure if I'll get hte books, I didn't buy them. We'll see. It does look nice, though. The pizza was delicious, but everyone wanted to go home afterwards. Feh. Weaklings.
