A very strange day.
Jul. 16th, 2004 10:27 pmPlans for Halo tomorrow proceed apace. Packing getting done, slowly and surely.
I feel disconnected today. My mind isn't quite following up with my senses to make decisions, so I'm not entirely cognizant of what's going on.
Which made my trip to the comic, beer & grocery stores intersting. I didn't see the bicyclist coming to the intersection, so he had to stop. I didn't notice my turnoff coming up ahead, so I would have turned INTO another car if I hadn't checked my blind spot, and I left my cart behind after I finished packing up the car and would ahve backed into it if the woman in the car next to me hadn't grabbed it and shoved a quarter into my window.
I hope tomorrow goes well. Many have backed out (Boo-urns to
rentagurkha,
nottheterritory, and
mr_weasel), but others are coming. (yay to.., well, yay to everyone who's coming).
Got food. Got drink. Got game.
I'm sure I'll feel better with a rocket launcher in my hand.
