Dammit, I miss Precedence
Jun. 13th, 2004 08:24 pmSure, there was rot at the heart of it, and Lone was, well, a tool, but the B5 game was loads of teh funne.
I was browsing over Vorlon Space after Creighton sent me a deck idea (I must say, a Shadow Altruism deck sounds... interesting). It was probably my favourite CCG. It was designed to be multiplayer (a game could accommodate up to a dozen players fairly easily), it had interesting takes on the show, and had art that occasionally didn't suck.
Okay, THAT was a big issue. The card quality never got near to that of the Trek games (which, oddly enough, was a really crappy game).
That, and slower building decks had a chance (unless someone pulled something assaholic like, say, Tim). And the Social Tournament format was a lot of fun.
The advancement of characters was, admittedly, a bit tough, but it was still fun.
Ah, well. Old toys put away and all that.
