Well, the Last Loveseat in Toronto was delivered. We handed the driver the money order for the cod payment, and he looked at us gently and said "we don't take money orders".

Well, ain't that a fuck up the ass with a rusty scrub brush. Here I always thought a MO was as good as cash, and better than a check. But nope. Just cash or credit.

Well, fuck that noise. Snra drove to the bank to get the MO cashed, and is now on here way back here to get the cash to the delivery guys, who are waiting in their truck.

A money order is verifiable funds. Not quite cash, but the next best thing. Unless you don't want it known that you ever received the payment.

The weird bit is they'll take cash or a credit card. But not a money order or certified check? Can someone explain that to me? Is their accounting department THAT inept?

Now I'm waiting for Mr. Singh to come pick up the cash while Snra takes trash to the dump.

Is this Thing free? Cause I don't pay to do things at conventions.

Most assuredly not free. I thought long and hard, because I'm not crazy about meet and greets. Then, decided if they were going to have Lani Tupu there, I'd kick myself if I didn't go. Besides, it's the only place he's doing a photo session.
