Health and Heroes

So, this morning I had my fitness exam at the "wellness Centre" at the new building, which is fancy corporate talk for "small gym". It mostly consisted of some strength, endurance and flexibility tests, sprinkled with the delightful taste of shame. I am not strong, sturdy, or flexible. That should hopefully change.

I did get to take a shower in their facilities, but the towel service was not yet active, so I got to dry myself off with a t-shirt. Fun!

I don't know if the facilities will have the same effect as pyat's new regime, which consists of bowflexing in his basement while watching Victorian Kinetoscope erotica.

Got to watch the new Heroes last night. Good to see they're finally getting to the point they should have been at four episodes ago. I am still wondering if the issue with the twins is a valid concern or just casual racism on the part of fans. Meh.

Hiro is finally back from 16th century Japan, which looks a lot like Southern California.

I do love that General Electric is trying to cast themselves as an eco friendly company. I think Sylar's gonna need to eat a lot more brains to be able to convince us of that.

Also watched the new Big Bang Theory. Amusing to see them do something with the lothario of the group. And to see them play Halo 3. Yay!

Fantasy Hero

For some reason, everytime I pick up that book, I get a weird giddiness.

Anyone local got any interest in playing FH? Anyone running a game?

I'm just wondering. No plans are being made or anything.
