SuperCar has a niggling issue, one that requires being checked by professionals. Of course, that requires that its warranty not have expired, so I had to drive about in Cynra's boat. No, literally, we're less than 200 klicks from 80K.

I took said ride into the T.Dot in order to bathe in the presence of Canada's Luminous Angel of Military SF, Tanya Huff, who was launching the third in her Valour books, about a cranky sergeant and her wacky squad of misfits.

She was dressed in an olive coloured dress, which was just appropriate to the situation. Bakka was a lovely oasis from madness, where there were beverages (I had water! So proud of myself, I is!) cookies (okay, I ate some cookies) and fruit, which was also tasty. I bought the new Valour book, the softcover of the last Tony book, and had to leave before my ticket ran out, and more importantly, before I spent the mortgage in Bakka.

Home was some stuff. A friend came by, and I've agreed to help with somethint at Toronto Trek. That is all I can say, although I can suggest strongly you make it to the masquerade. Juuuuust saying.

There was also yardwork and mowing (we seem to have lost our seedlings, but we're gonna try anew). I almost ran over a robin chick with the lawnmower. I stopped and tryed to nudge it out of the way, but it refused to budge. That is one brave chick. If they're all like that, Hitchcock may be more prescient than we think.

Sweet

Vinnie Mack just walked to the ring here in Toronto, and what did the crowd say? A resoundng chant of "you screwed Bret".

Good memories, those Toronto fans.

Edit: The Montreal Screwjob has its own Wikipedia entry!
