Tortilla-tastic!
Mar. 31st, 2007 12:09 pmSo, Cynra had a MMP (Minor Medical Procedure) yesterday, the kind that requires a little preperation, so I had to back out of game on Thursday just in case I was needed.
However, for today's event, I had to get a couple things from downtown, so I ended up coming downtown after all after the Hobbystar meeting. Since
eyebeams was in town, we got together for a bit and had a burrito after swinging by
papajoemambo's establishment.
The next day, Cynra and I headed in for her appointment. After she was done, she was kind of hungry (not having had any solid food for 36 hours) so we went to get her some food (well, both of us) and stopped off at my other FNSLCS. Since I'd picked up my only pick of the week at Dragon Lady the previous day, she got herself a Gargoyles book and one of the Virgin comics 1&2 sets.
I DID get myself a couple HC boosters. It broke my perfect Unique streak, since I only got one Unique out of the two of them; I pulled a House of M Magneto out of an Armour Wars booster. Nice fig, and now I have a row of X-Foes on my HC display thingy.
So, for lunch we went to Chorizo's (it is BUSY in that place during the day) and then headed home. We did some mailing and stuff; I had to send a MO for Supercar's last maintanence, and another huge check had to go out to the agency. Bye bye tax refund!
So, home. And you wanna know what we had for dinner? Fajitas. At least it wasn't a burrito. We tried the Maple Leaf Simply Fresh chicken fajitas. We were a bit beat, so we figured it would do without a side dish of any kind. Holy crap, did we mess up that call. We split a thingy for three between the two of us, and at the end were strangly unsatisfied.
Breakfast today was, thankfully, tortilla free.
