Dear Brain Trust:

I want to do something for my wife for Superbowl Sunday. This is not based around the game itself, but around the fact that it's the day we moved in together. That's a cool story, too, what with [livejournal.com profile] mr_weasel helping me move out of my old house, shouting "I'll buy you NEW salsa! Can we get out of here?"

Anyway, so I'm kinda dry on what to do for the anniversary. Just some flowers? Chrysanthemums are her favourites. I got her a teddy bear one year; he sits on the back of our couch. Maybe pick up vol 1 of Airbender, since I didn't get her the season.

Any ideas?

Yours;

Well, this is interesting;

Apparently, Pendant Audio produces new style old style radio dramas over the intertubes. They do some original series and some fan series, including a set about Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman. Starting with the latest issue, #25, of Superman, they're doing a crossover, as Darkseid invades Earth.

And to raise ratings, he's gonna rape Batman!

Edit: And while I'm talking about audio plays, Circus 13 Productions is also doing some comics inspired radio plays; the one that I'm gonna check when I get home is an adaptation of the iconic X-Men story Days of Future Past. It's got two of the most memorable covers of any comics ever, I think, that don't show a Byrne Choke.

And wasn't someone out there involved with a Batman radio play? Anyone?

Because of them, hot chicks walk/skate around naked. That's why.
