Anyone out there interested in trying a d20 Future adventure? I have a setting for it called Dawning Star and would like to try the sample adventure included in the setting.

Anyone? Bueller?

(d20 Future is a tabletop RPG system for SF adventures. Interested players would need to be located in or around the GTA, or have access to a teleport device or private jet.)

Via The Zocalo, and confirmed on Mongoose's website.

UPCOMING BABYLON 5 NOVELS:
Mongoose Publishing is proud to announce an agreement with Warner
Brothers to produce an all new range of novels and graphic novels
for Babylon 5. They promise some exciting tales lined up, delving
into never-before- explored areas of the Babylon 5 universe and
expanding the storyline beyond the TV series. Releases will begin
appearing in Q4 2005. As soon as more information is available, we
will post it. Thanks Ranger Joe for the report.

I'm sure we can count on them to be of just as high quality as the B5 sourcebooks have been. I presume that the comics will also be printed on glossy paper with colour borders and black and white art.

Snra spent the day at Ad Astra, while I jogged around doing various chores, shopping, and hanging out.

Picked up my comics backlog from Altered States. Quite a backlog it was, too, since I don't think I've been in there since January. I'm finally up to date on Ultimates, Rising Stars, Spider-Joe, Joss Men, and a couple other books.

Also disappointed that the Power Company appearance in JLA turned out to be ONE PANEL, but that's what you get for trusting Kurt Busiek. That bastard.

Took a few hours over at [livejournal.com profile] pyat and [livejournal.com profile] velvetpage's house where The Great Mouse, myself, and their darling child took in The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, an amusing b-movie spoof. There were confused aliens, submissive housewives, rather thick scientists, and a strange mutant that didn't want to kill, but it was all it knew.

It was amusing.

There were anime trailers, and [livejournal.com profile] pyat and I agreed that we'd like to see a steel cage Asian cinema discussion with [livejournal.com profile] robin_d_laws and [livejournal.com profile] sixteenbynine, because it would be neat.

We also watched some abbreviated sequences of Skullduggery, where we foolishly searched for [livejournal.com profile] hazyone101.

While there, I continued to work in my capacity as "bad uncle", convincing the household todder that "pull my finger" is, in fact, hilarious, and attempting to teach her to say "Diana was a whore". [livejournal.com profile] pyat quickly kiboshed that, but finger pulling was a smash success.

Hide, as it were, your children.

So, yeah. Home after that, chicken n' veggies n' rice, watched some TV with the wife (which was, in fact, her watching and me reading graphic novels) and now, the wife has gone to bed, and I'll join her shortly. A good day, if somewhat tiring.
