She Saiiiiiidd... (mumblemumblemumble)

So, while Snra Bitter was coifed by Jeffery, I took the opportunity to stroll over to the WBBS.

Christ, they've completely given up on RPG stuff. They've moved it AGAIN. I will probably get Urban Arcana through Peter, though. It looks nifty, in a 'we don't really NEED it' kinda way.

So, after decided I was in NO mood to pay full price for anything, I wandered over to the UBS just down the street.

I bought neither porn nor fiction, but got a handful of '80s Graphic Novels.

Man, Me & Joe Priest has a dissapointing ending. Rick Mason: The Agent is a neat Marvel Universe spy story, and Buck Godot PSmith was amusing.

Demon Knight, which was my first Grimjack story, sucked. The story was a bit rambly, and I could truly do without the art. I grabbed a couple Grimjack comics from the bin, hopefully they're good; at the very least, I got a Sam & Max story.

Picked up a couple Supehero books from the Pulp Heros bit DC did in their annuals in '97. The JLA one is posited on the League being a bunch of Assholes who refuse to listen to one of their members, but the GL one did an interesting bit of Alice in Wonderland.

Then I had dinner at Popeye's. I love that place. Tasty, tasty chicken. And nice mash n' gravy, too.

So, yes. Greasing the engines of capitalism. Ain't I a good boy.

Silence of the Lambs: The Musical

Okay, I haven't finished a download yet, but it makes me tingle just thinking about it.

Damn

You know, I don't Like Farscape all that much; in fact, my favourite character is the evil muppet. But, damn, that's a BITCH of a way to end a show. That Hammer chick needs some Justice dispensed, painfully.

Summer, summer, movie daaayyy

Ain't nothing better in the world I know that going to a movie on my cross border day oooooff...

Anyway, we did it. We saw WAY too many trailers (American Wedding 2x, LXG 2x, etc, etc).

Still upset that they slipped Tom Sawyer into the League film. Sure, they're all literary figures, but they're all, in one sense or another, monsters. Fallen hero, rebel against the crown, 'violated woman', etc. Tom Sawyer is just... too clean.

Really, what's his power? His "mean, mean stride"?

I mean, really.

(laugh at that last bit, kids. It's the best I've had in days)

Anyway, we saw T3 & CA2.

I'll put a spoiler space, cause God only knows what I'll say )
