Feh. I'm all in favour of a light dusting, but this is kind of ridiculous.

We called off Karaoke last night because of the snow (I've almost died ONCE because of snow & Karaoke, and I have NO intention of repeating the experience!).

Now, it continues.

Which is a shame, because [livejournal.com profile] whisper_jeff and [livejournal.com profile] adamjury are supposed to be here to pick me up for Survivor Series tonight. Feh.

New ruminations on The New Car: it shifts like a dream. I don't know if the CR-V had a wonky transmission or it just was going downhill on us, but the new car shifts so much nicer.

The CD player is such an improvement I cannot imagine. Listening to the Hillside Thickets while on my way to work? Stan Rogers? Hell, clips of music from The Simpsons? All possible! Huzzah! I also need to get my fricking cd burning software instealled, once the store provides me with a copy.

Headspace. Ahhh, now we get to the problem. Once or twice, YHB and Snra. Bitter have both landed rather loud head crunches onto the newly reduced door frames. I think we may have been spoiled by the CR-V, as it was all head and arm space. We're also having troubles adjusting to the closer proximity of our limbs, since we bump elbows pretty much every day.

Overall, it's satisfying. Gas seems to be down, but I may be optimistic.

Breakfast this morning was one of my favourites. The standard chicken bacon 'n eggs, over easy, with curry on the side. God Bless the good people at Pataks.

Oh, yeah: This... This is interesting.

Which RPG system are you?

Does this mean people are going to start ignoring me in favour of d20?

Yesterday, as Snra. Bitter and I were cruising through Costco to pick up high use products (OJ concentrate, paper towels. soap, etc) we, in our foolishness, wandered through the media aisle.

Thankfully, I rejected the impulse to buy every cookbook in town (I'm a cookbook slut. If you ever see a media tie-in cookbook, buy it for me). But, I spotted a pair of DVD boxed sets: Babylon 5, season 1, and Lord of the Rings The Collectors Boxed Set with Two Bookends no normal human could ever need.

Naturally, we bought both.

The final purchase tally proved to be Too Much, with 2/3s of it being Media Purchases (The two DVDs and a game that we may take back).

Oy.
