thebitterguyYesterday, as Snra. Bitter and I were cruising through Costco to pick up high use products (OJ concentrate, paper towels. soap, etc) we, in our foolishness, wandered through the media aisle.
Thankfully, I rejected the impulse to buy every cookbook in town (I'm a cookbook slut. If you ever see a media tie-in cookbook, buy it for me). But, I spotted a pair of DVD boxed sets: Babylon 5, season 1, and Lord of the Rings The Collectors Boxed Set with Two Bookends no normal human could ever need.
Naturally, we bought both.
The final purchase tally proved to be Too Much, with 2/3s of it being Media Purchases (The two DVDs and a game that we may take back).
Oy.
