thebitterguyGod, it's nice to have a day off. No getting yelled at by dumb people.
Did house hunting & yard work today. Also gave up on arguing about dumb stuff for at least an hour or two.
Yard work was good. It's great how just a little raking just takes off all the crap that's settled over the yard. We need to get rid of that damn deck and resod the backyard.
I'm gonna suggest to Snra. we rent a big ol' saw, cut it into pieces, haul it to the dump, rent a device that rips up and redistributes dirt, use it on the ground, lay paving stones, and sod the backyard.
I figure it's at most a weekend's work (with help from some people who I've helped move, perhaps) to make the backyard civilized.
I am also planning on at least three BBQs this summer. One in conjunction with a Halo fest, one as just another party, and a third for the game industry thingy![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
