The WizKids thing

thebitterguyOkay, two points:
1) My desire for the Galactus fig is so strong as to approach covetousness. It is the Precious, and we Wants It.
2) What WizKids was trying to do was sell some G's while whipping up desire for them. I think they succeeded, but there'll probably be some small amount of backlash for the small number they had. Will it hurt?
There's two schools of thought:
A) The internet fans are a vocal, annoying irrelevant bunch. Fuck 'em.
B) These are the guys who want the fig and know about it. If they percieve some kind of badness on WK part, they may react.
A) no, come on. What are they gonna do? Give up playing? NOT buy a Galactus? Oh, heavens to betsy! Whatever will we do, little Jimmy is boycotting us because he feels bad. We'll cry ourselves to sleep, on a pillow full of money.
B) Why don't you ever take me seriously? I try to contribute
A) Bwah. Look, you gonna buy a Galactus or not?
B) ... Do I get a Silver Surfer?
