Jesus. I can't remember a single thing I did Saturday. Other than buying an $8 bottle of HP Curry sauce (it's imported, you see).

What the hell did I do Saturday night? I can't fucking remember! I recall suggesting Karaoke, but the wife declined for work. But I can't remember what we DID do. We didn't watch A Night At the Opera, as we'd planned.

Feh. I'm drawing a complete blank. We did some shopping at Costco... But you can't spend an ENTIRE Saturday going shopping at Costco, especially when you don't buy that much. I bought some comics (1602 #4, JLA/Avengers #3, GI Joe #23, and Empire #4) and a couple boosters of the new Marvel HC set.

One thing that annoys me about that set: Silver Surfer, Nova, and Terrax are ALL UNIQUES. While somewhat understandable, very annoying. Nova, at least, could have been Frankie Raye in R, and then power hopped up to Nova for E & V.

Gamed at SCT's today; my Rogue was doing more Rangerly things (interesting thought: while scouting through box canyons at night, don't send the human who has no sort of vision in the dark.

Got home, did some laundry, looked through SW chargen for [livejournal.com profile] pyat's and [livejournal.com profile] nottheterritory's octaNe concepts. No actual RULES for playing a robot, but I can see it being done.

Am curious as to why Savage Worlds has such poor chargen rules. PCs will be at best average across the board; if they have a good attribute, then they'll have a below average one. I like the whole Storyteller take on it, where you get one average bunch, one slightly above average bunch, and a very competent bunch.

It'll hinder skill purchases, too, since skills cost more to buy over your attributes. And getting extra points via Hindrances would be an invitation to blind one armed paraplegic dwarf syndrome, since you need Hindrances to get Edges too.

Feh. And then had a fight with the missus because she seemed to think midnight Sunday was Midnight Monday. So she's gone to sleep in a huff.

No robot PC rules in Star Wars? Check out the big boxed entry "Creating Droid Heroes" on pages 360-361 of the Revised Core Rulebook.

Unless you mean d6, in which case you might be right, but I don't think so.

I think he's using SW to mean Savage Worlds.

Geez. Non-standard abbreviations. I hate them.

I know you made curry, cause you were looking for the cream when I talked to your wife. And at some point you were on the computer, cause I saw you. Other than that, can't help.

I think you neglect to take into account the wild die, so at least, they'll be average. Then you can pick which attribute(s) to raise to an above average level. There on out you raise one per rank.
